Game Day Perspective

As an alumna, 18 year staff member, and the holder of football season tickets for 16 years, I have a long history with the University of Richmond. I was fortunate enough to make the 9 hour ride to Chattanooga last Friday to attend the game. I don’t think I have ever been so impressed with the class act that is University of Richmond.

Time to celebrate…

Spider Football on ESPN2 tonight!!

I know Tom has posted quite a bit regarding tonight’s Spider Football game already; but I just couldn’t keep quite any longer!

Facebook users beware

Breaking news from our side of the desk in college admissions. In the last day or so it’s become clear in the college admissions community that there is a small group of Facebook users – neither current students nor prospective students – who have set up at least 350 bogus “Class of 2013” groups for colleges and universities across the country. Brad J. Ward at Butler University gets the credit for uncovering this.

ED letters and more football

Early Decision letters are in the mail, and should begin hitting in the next day or two! Maria wrote a great post last year explaining the different decisions, and rather than re-writing I’m simply going to point you to her post. If you have questions, feel free to post them on this entry, and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. Congratulations to our new members of the Class of 2013!!
